Sorry I haven’t been posting schedules on the blog for a while. I will endeavour to be a bit more organised and make sure to do this in future. This Friday’s broadcast will feature a festive edition of the music show. After the usual TV comedy block, I will be showing two Sylvester Stallone films:

In what might well be the worst thing ever shown on CaB TV, Sly teams up with Estelle Getty to deliver an absolute steaming turd of a film. How this sub-AIDS-tier howler ever found itself distributed to cinemas is one of life’s most compelling mysteries. First Blood (1982)

Stallone stars as John Rambo in the first film of the bloated franchise. A decorated Vietnam veteran goes on a trip to find an old comrade, only to be hassled by the pigs in some stinking redneck backwater. The situation soon escalates into an epiphenominal imbroglio which pushes our PTSD-addled hero to the limit.
