Speed Racer, also known as Mach GoGoGo (Japanese: マッハGoGoGo, Hepburn: Mahha GōGōGō), is a Japanese media franchise about automobile racing. Adapted into anime by Tatsunoko Productions, its 52 episodes aired on Fuji TV from April 1967 to March 1968.
His adventures centered on his powerful Mach 5 car, his girlfriend Trixie, his little brother Spritle, Spritle’s pet chimpanzee Chim-Chim, and his mysterious older brother, Racer X,[14] whose real name was Rex Racer.
Speed Racer enters his first race to win money for his family. Meanwhile, a gang of robbers are after Pops’s secret plans… which he hid in the windshield of Speed’s car.

5.15: New!! Sykes – Burglary (Series 1, Episode 1)
Sykes is a British sitcom that aired on BBC 1 from 1972 to 1979. Starring Eric Sykes and Hattie Jacques, it was written by Sykes, who had previously starred with Jacques in Sykes and a… (1960–1965) and Sykes and a Big, Big Show (1971).[1] Forty-three of the 1970s colour episodes were remakes of scripts for the 1960s black and white series, such as “Bus” based on ‘Sykes and a Following’ from 1964 and the episode “Stranger” with Peter Sellers based on ‘Sykes and a Stranger’ from 1961.
Sykes had the same premise as Sykes and a… with Sykes, Jacques, Richard Wattis and Deryck Guyler reprising their former identical roles. The series was brought to an end by the death of Hattie Jacques of a heart attack on 6 October 1980.
Eric buys a dog after a series of burglaries in the neighbourhood – before realising the Sykes household doesn’t really have anything worth stealing.
