Psychotic child superhero Ken goes undercover in a mental hospital which happens to be concealing a secret alien missile solo.


17:05 – Outlaw Star – Episode 01 – Outlaw World

Outlaw Star is a Japanese anime television series taking place in the “Toward Stars Era” universe in which spacecraft are capable of traveling faster than the speed of light. The plot follows protagonist Gene Starwind and his motley crew of an inherited ship dubbed the Outlaw Star, as they search for a legendary, outer space treasure trove called the “Galactic Leyline”.


17:30 – Dirty Pair – Episode 01 – We’ll Teach You How To Kill A Computer

Kei and Yuri, two cops with a bad reputation, fight interplanetary crime in the 22nd century. A priceless prism is being delivered to Caine Galaxy. For safety, 20 different ships are being deployed, but only one of them has the actual gem. Kei and Yuri aren’t sure if their cargo is real or not, but they must battle a group of pirates who intend to find out!


17:55 – Cat Soup (2001)

Cat Soup is a 2001 Japanese animated short experimental film directed by Tatsuo Satō, based on the manga created by Nekojiru. The surreal film follows Nyatta, an anthropomorphic kitten, on his travel to the land of the dead and back in an effort to save his sister’s soul.


18:30 – The Avengers – Series 1, Episode 15 – The Frighteners

Sir Thomas Waller disapproves of his daughter’s choice in boyfriends and hires a criminal to scare off an unwanted suitor. Keel and Steed rescue the swain from the criminal’s henchman and discover a clue to an extortion plot.


19:25 – Making Blake’s 7 – Series 1

First part of Kevin J Davies four part making-of documentary series originally intended for the Blake’s 7 DVD release, but pulled at the last minute after the Terry Nation Estate decided they weren’t reverent enough. Years later Davies uploaded the three completed parts to his youtube channel.


20:05 – Stewart Lee on Who’s Ready for Ice Cream

21:10 – Film: Stalker (1979)

Stalker is a 1979 Soviet science fiction art drama film directed by Andrei Tarkovsky with a screenplay written by Arkady and Boris Strugatsky, loosely based on their 1972 novel Roadside Picnic.

In an unnamed country at an unspecified time, there is a fiercely protected post-apocalyptic wasteland known as The Zone. An illegal guide (Aleksandr Kajdanovsky), whose mutant child suggests unspeakable horrors within The Zone, leads a writer (Anatoliy Solonitsyn) and a scientist (Nikolay Grinko) into the heart of the devastation in search of a mythical place known only as The Room. Anyone who enters The Room will supposedly have any of his earthly desires immediately fulfilled.
