As the Sepulchre returns for a spring outing, Gene Hackman and Dan Aykroyd piss ten million dollars of Tri-Star Pictures’ money up the wall in the buddy-cop catastrophe Loose Cannons (1990). A no-nonsense cop (Hackman) is teamed up with a detective suffering from DID (Aykroyd), to find Adolf Hitler’s sex tape or some such bullshit – it’s actually staggering that anyone could possibly have thought that this was a viable endeavour.
