hogTV #21 [2/3/22]

This is art.

Are you suffering from Meatball withdrawal? Why not help yourself to an eclectic serving of hogTV instead this Wednesday.

We’ve got high-velocity shit coming out of arses, some puking, a crossword puzzle, exploding old ladies, gloryhole penetration and a devastating Eastern European war film to top it all off.
In other words, the usual mix of low and high-brow entertainment that you should come to expect by now.

I’ll be starting things off a little earlier than usual (there’s a lot to pack in) with a short music show.
That’ll be followed by a comedy block, then a feature-length documentary and then some old theatrical shorts.

Somewhat inspired by recent events, I’ve decided to show Elem Klimov’s seminal film Come and See (1985). The film follows a young partisan recruit in the midst of the German invasion of Belarus in 1943 (pretty ironic now considering Belarus’ compliance in those aforementioned ‘recent events.’)
It’s difficult to convey just how relentlessly hellish the whole experience is. It’s amazing.
Anyway, hope you enjoy 🙂
