In 1971, an unnamed Birds Eye’s advertising executive thought it would be a brilliant idea to commission the Python team to produce an entire filmed episode of their popular comedy series, dedicated entirely largely to the promotional relaunch of Birds Eye products. Following viewing of this film by the Birds Eye top brass, this heroically misguided executive received a chilling invitation to “Sit at the Captain’s Table,” and has never been heard from since, but thank to their bewildering efforts we have entirely unseen Python episode to view all these years later.
