Things we learned:

• Del’s dad is the UK’s #1 archivist of very very boring programmes from TLC and Discovery Home & Leisure. Complete series of Two’s Country with Bill Grundy’s son are preserved for quasi-eternity
  
• Del’s dad also likes very boring films starring notoriously well-hung Hollywood actors (Clark Gable, Warren Beatty, er… Donald Sinden)
  
• Del’s dad taped two separate TV reviews of the Cadillac Seville, both saying it was an absolutely shit car, and then still went out and bought one. Turns out it was in fact a shit car

I now have a deep admiration for this man.
