Flouncer’s Thursday Throwback (26.03.20)

This week’s show begins with some ITV themed retro TV, starting around 5 with some test card music and Oracle related ephemera. The CITV block begins at 6pm. This will be followed by the usual shows, along with the first episode of 3rd Rock From the Sun. Loius Theroux explores the seedy world of porn, then closing out the evening, Jean-Claude Van Damme stars in the 1990 film Lionheart (also known as AWOL or Wrong Bet). A tenacious legionnaire leaves his post and sets out to provide for his dead brother’s family in the only way he knows how – by beating the living shit out of people.

Hiya, just to flag up that at 7pm on Thursday it’s the global (re-)watchalong of the first-ever New Doctor Who episode, “Rose”, so it would be cool if Star Trek didn’t clash with that. Looking at last week’s timings, if you keep them the same it will just miss clashing anyway, if only by seconds (“Rose” is 44m38s long on Netflix!) — I personally can live without Neighbours & Will Smith. 🙂

See you for the rest of the show!

That shouldn’t be an issue man. The CITV segment will be at least as long as the CBBC one was last week, so the timings should be about the same, with things getting pushed a bit later if anything. 🙂
