hogTV XMAS XTRAVAGANZA 2025

Deck the hogs

hogTV returns for a special Christmas Eve-Eve edition this Tuesday at 6PM (or possibly a little earlier with a pre-show thing).

This year marks the 100th anniversary of Charlie Chaplin’s The Gold Rush — widely considered his second-greatest film, but certainly his most iconic. It’s fairly light on any festive themes or ephemera, but it does feature lots of snow and a New Years celebration.

And there’s plenty more to get you into the christmas spirit… Ringo Starr, Fred Dinenage, Pat Sharpe, Christmas TV ads, Steve Brule, tuberculosis, Tex Avery, a child dying of exposure, dogs as people, Trains, puppet-otters, Buster Keaton, and an hour long special featuring Mr T and a toddler who’s actually a teenager!

Don your santa hat, crack open a mulled drink of your choice, and join us for some festive cheer.
