Crowfest 2020 continues this Saturday with all three sequels, and much more! The films will be shown at intervals throughout the stream, punctuated by other bits to keep things interesting. There will be a gaming stream, a radio show featuring live Discord chat (please let me know if you’d like to be involved), and a special Saturday night retro block! Crowfest 2020 kicks off this Friday at 10.20pm with The Crow (1994), in which Brandon Lee stars in his final role (he was tragically killed in an accident on set). Rock musician Eric Draven and his fiancee Shelley are brutally murdered on the eve of their wedding by a gang of sick bastards. A year later, Eric is resurrected by a supernatural crow, and vows to take revenge on the perpetrators. All three sequels to the film will be shown in a special Saturday broadcast the following day! Also, Stella Street returns to the Friday schedule, as I have finally managed to source the first episode of series 4.

This week’s Throwback features the premiere of Star Trek: The Next Generation season 2. In the evening block, we go on a quest for knowledge in an episode of Tomorrow’s World from 1999, then Louis enters the domain of washed-up actors in Weird Weekends.

The centerpiece of this week’s show is Gerry and Sylvia Anderson’s sci-fi film Doppelgänger (1969), also known as Journey to the Far Side of the Sun. This will be followed by the second episode of computing magazine programme Micro Live, and a closedown.
