This week's films both involve Richard Pryor and Gene Wilder. Pryor wrote some of the material for the Mel Brooks film Blazing Saddles (1974) - he was supposed to play one of the main roles alongside Wilder, but was prevented from doing so for insurance reasons, being replaced by Cleavon Little.
