In prolific Japanese director Kinji Fukasaku’s final and arguably most famous film, Battle Royal, we follow the exploits of a group of school students, who by the decree of a new law passed by a totalitarian Japanese Government, must fight each other to the death on an isolated island, in a desperate bid to be the last survivor.
