The Ballad of Buster Scruggs (2018)

The titular character of Buster Scruggs is but the first tale in this Western anthology film from the Coen Brothers, in what is arguably their greatest film in years (for yours truly, it’s their best work since 1998’s The Big Lebowski); part comedic, part dramatic, but never less than thoroughly engaging and beautifully shot.
