I’ve had a copy of Under the Skin for ages, but not watched it. Michel Faber’s book that it’s based on is very good. A friend of mine who has seen the film and read the book hates the film, and he’s not a guns and s’plosions type of fella.
So I’m looking forward to see how they compare…. not that I mind if a film doesn’t turn out to be a faithful adaption of its source material. It’s the directors’s interpretation of the source that interests me.
Glad to see this come up. It’s a beautiful and memorable film.
