Salute! It’s time for another Sploff TV, commencing 7PM on July 25th.

If you arrive 20 minutes early you can enjoy part two of the space rock opera Galactic Nightmare. A wizened old ‘immortal’ has arrived on the scene.

The show starts proper with the animation The Music Scene, followed by a short history of Sheppey’s Light Railway system, and another study on those 1950s American young people called The Snob. Have your copybooks ready.

Ever wondered how someone can die alone in a busy city and not be discovered for three years.? If so, Dreams of a Life is the documentary for you.

The two Alans next… first off Alan Moore takes us on a tour of his beloved Northampton in Don’t Let Me Die in Black and White, second off a classic Alan Bennett sketch: Take a Pew.

Tonight’s animated movie is Laputa Castle in the Sky, a classic from Studio Ghibli. And the show closes with episode four of Welcome to the NHK... with the option of episode five if folks aren’t fed up of the whole thing by then.
