Thursday Throwback (01.10.20)

This week’s show kicks off with an ITV Schools block. We have some CITV and an episode of Home and Away from 1998, followed by our usual shows. Anne Robinson commences her consumer crusade in a 1995 episode of Watchdog, and Louis meets some gurus in Weird Weekends. This week’s Play for Today is Horace Ové’s A Hole in Babylon, a story (based on an actual event in 1975) in which three young black men find themselves embroiled in a siege after the robbery they planned goes tits-up. To wrap things up we have an episode of Equinox about TV manufacturing, then the fourth episode of Micro Live and a closedown.
