Thursday Throwback (06.07.23)

The Throwback returns for another night of retro TV goodness!

We kick off at 4pm with Jobfinder in an attempt to get those filthy dole-bludgers on their bikes, however, any stragglers who remain at home will be rewarded with some Schools programming and an episode of Dramarama starring Gary Oldman. After this we move into soapier territory with Home and Away, The Bill and Eastenders. The arrival of a new senior staff member ruffles some feathers at Blackwall in London’s Burning, which precedes the Nine O’Clock News. Crimewatch File looks at the notorious railway murders, then World in Action tackles the question of whether or not it’s right to bash the fash. We wrap things up, as usual, with Electric Avenue, the Open University and a closedown.
