I’m doing something a bit different for the opening of this week’s show – we’ll start off with some classic cartoons, before moving on to a block of shows, both cartoons and live action, that would have been seen on Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network in the late nineties/early 2000s. The trainers saga continues in Brookside, then another Star Trek: The Next Generation double bill precedes the final episode of Weird Weekends, in which Louis attempts to make a name for himself in the hard-hitting world of gangsta rap. Our main event for tonight is Brassneck, a 1975 Play For Today adapted from the play of the same name. We round off the evening with another episode of Look, Stranger about a family of shrimp fishermen from Morcambe Bay, followed by the ninth episode of Micro Live to take us to closedown.
