Thursday Throwback (23.04.20)

The original Thursday Throwback returns this week, starting at 4pm with some pages from Ceefax. The main segment will start at 4.45 with some BBC Schools programming, moving onto a near-complete edition of CBBC from March 1998. Our usual shows begin at 7pm. Louis has a close encounter with some swingers at 9, before tonight’s film, Gone in 60 Seconds (2000) starring Nicholas Cage as Randall “Memphis” Raines, a former car thief lured out of retirement in order to save his punk brother’s sorry ass from the clutches of Raymond Calitri (a psychotic British gangster with a penchant for carpentry, played by CaB TV stalwart Christopher Eccleston). The evening will conclude with an authentic BBC1 weather report and closedown.
