This week as the Funbucket hits its seventy-fifth edition, we have two outgoing shows – the long-running Alexei Sayle sketch shows come to an end with the final Merry Go Round, and another Friday Stalwart, Peep Show, also hits the buffers. These will be replaced by two new exciting shows next week. Tonight’s film kicks off a new Classic Cinema Season in which I’ll be playing some particularly well-regarded films from years gone by. Our first film in this series is The Shawshank Redemption (1994), starring Tim Robbins and Morgan Freeman – yet another film based on a Stephen King short story.
