i over-ran by 10 minutes. I’ll also be watching at work, so dragging it forward ain’t a problem, and it’ll all be done in time for Sepulchre

Five Pin Billiards – not going to lie, never watched a match in full but caught a few clips. found and explainer video, and it seems a bit faster paced and more intricate. also, each player takes only one turn so there’s no “Jaspers kicks the donkey to death and keeps on kicking”, its shot for shot. tune in for the rules, it’s worth it πŸ™‚

USWA – more memphis based balleyhoo. i think we’ll see this one out til the end of 1993 then i’ll find another territory unless something interesting happens

Grand Sumo – there were three days of the May tournament left, so we might as well see it to the end!

Knight Fights – this isn’t an actual programme, though i’ve been trying to find one. Two full fights in an MMA setting between combattants wearing full armour, complete with shields and swords. Yes, it’s legitimate competition, and Yes, the swords are real (blunt but real).

12:50 – Insignificance Blu-Ray Extra: Gone Roeg – If you’ve ever wanted to see interviews with the Continuity Person, Set Dresser, and Production Manager of Insignificance (1985), now’s your chance. A bit of a shame they couldn’t get anyone else… but it’s not unenjoyable.

13:36 – Insignificance Blu-Ray Extra: Imitation of a Scene – An interview with one of the actors! Oh… the bloke who played one of the guys manning the fan under the subway grille beneath The Actress. Still, it’s mildly interesting.

more fun with WWF invading the USWA and Vince McMahon being a complete bastard back when everyone else thought he was just a mild mannered, yet slightly overenthusiastic commentator

OTH Paper Round & Zeppelin

More of the usual lunacy with the bemulleted rotherhamites, another week on Circe Island, intergalactic shenanigans, Canadian “home made programming quota” comedy, memories of MTVs heyday and Tyne-Tees’ golden years.

An hour-ish’s break for this week’s Revolt into Sound, then…

Jean-Paul Desmond and Elwood Blues investigate and if the track record is anything to go on, debunk/ruin the illusion of whatever’s meant to be going on.

More twats attempt to navigate a physical challenge while trying to out-do each other for the title of cringeworthy cunts. Sadly, the floor isn’t Lava, but it does look like fanta, and if that is the case, hopefully it’s sugar content is high enough to lumber them with diabetes and enough in medical bills to make them REALLY need the prize money. American Healthcare folks, it’s a shit business.

Taskmaster Tom Gleeson hosts another “HARD QUIZ” – Mileage may vary, but the banter is always gold

then we’ve got the next installment of “Schrodinger’s Mower” who’s both simultaneously been killed off in the first episode and has his name on the credits as the main character. fuck knows.

double priz \o/

and another set of Mysteries with Dr.…
