Thought I would stick some films on this evening as I haven’t streamed in a while, but haven’t had the chance to put a proper schedule together.

05:00 Split Second (1992)

Split Second is a 1992 science fiction action horror film directed by Tony Maylam and Ian Sharp,[5] and written by Gary Scott Thompson. A co-production between the United States and the United Kingdom, the film stars Rutger Hauer as a burnt-out police detective obsessively hunting down the mysterious serial killer who killed his partner several years prior. The film also features Kim Cattrall, Alastair Neil Duncan, Pete Postlethwaite, Ian Dury, and Alun Armstrong.

06:31 Lady Snowblood (1973)

Lady Snowblood (Japanese: 修羅雪姫, Hepburn: Shurayuki-hime) is a 1973 Japanese film directed by Toshiya Fujita and starring Meiko Kaji.[2] Based on the manga series of the same name by Kazuo Koike and Kazuo Kamimura, the film recounts the tale of Yuki (Kaji), a woman who seeks vengeance upon three of the people who raped her mother and killed her father and brother. The film’s narrative is told out of chronological order, jumping between present and past events.…

    Winnebago

I really enjoy the procedurals and whatnot on Sundays: I look forward to it all week. I love going through the shows I’ve always meant to watch, and there’s some stuff I’d love to add but there just isn’t the space. For that reason I’ve decided to launch a new Wednesday show. Hop aboard the Winnebago, get yourself comfortable and take a leisurely weekday evening journey through American procedurals, sitcoms, drama and sci-fi shows of years gone by, stretching all the way from the 60s right up to the close of the century.

    Dragnet (1967-1970)

The relaunched 1960s version of the keystone police procedural series, following a tough LAPD detective and his partner in the course of their duties. Starring series creator Jack Webb as Detective Joe Friday, alongside future M*A*S*H stalwart Harry Morgan as Officer Bill Gannon.

    CHiPs (1977-1983)

CHiPs follows the escapades of two California Highway Patrol motor officers: the exuberant Frank Poncherello and his level-headed partner Jon Baker. We follow the pair as they try to work as a team despite their differences, whilst enforcing the state’s traffic laws.…

    OTH Weekly Zeppelin

    Tonight’s trigger warnings:

  • Muzikbreaks may contain flashing images
  • Chucklevision – may induce loss of braincells
  • Ship to Shore – cognitive dissonance over which character is less likeable. still quite fun though
  • My Parents Are Aliens – deals with familly issues, and foster family situations in a lighthearted fashion
  • Mysteries from beyond the other dominion – has not produced a cyborg Geoff Capes yet
  • Beavis and Butthead – nostalgia for Gen X childhood, despite childhood being terrible back then
  • New Wave Theatre – great music recorded on primitive equipment, cheerful nihilism
  • Strange Paradise – No Quito, action not guaranteed
  • Space Island One – may resonate with those experiencing feelings of isolation
  • Holey Moley – mild peril and mild banter. possible comedic hammering of Uranus
  • Celebrity Hunted – Paranoia, questionable use of the term “celebrity”
  • Who Pays The Ferryman – WW2 themes, combat based PTSD flashbacks may be upsetting to some
  • PCBH – if you saw last week’s you’ll know. ouch.
  • Square Peg – reveals how mych of an arsehole Murdoch is
  • the gig – might not happen depending on if i pass out or not.…
