For tonight’s gaming stream, I shall be playing one of my favourite games of all time; Worms Armageddon. I must have clocked at least 500 hours into playing this title and therefore, I thought that it may be of interest for myself to breakdown the tactics which I’ve come to employ over the years. Please do join me, King of Worms, within this endeavor.

Having said that, I’ll probably fail horrendously, such is my wont to fall folly to the persistent beast that is hubris.

so then. the thing i had to do today got cancelled. that means you’re stuck with this bollocks again. not expecting to have to upload anything i left my hard disk in the house, so there are some notable substitutions

  • Chucklevision has returned early. Beavis and Butthead will be back next week.
  • Alright Now returns next week. someone had the first episode of Razzmatazz, which was the successor i believe.
  • Jupiter Moon – yes, believe it or not i couldn’t verify the episode that was on youtube under the same number, so we’ve instead got a taste of things to come with the first episode of “out of this world”. The reviews of this basically boiled down to “we told them it was shite but they kept making it anyway” after JuMoo finishes, this is what you’re getting. al 4 series of it.
  • The Radio thing is quite interesting – a collage of stuff from a decade without continuity if i recall correctly. it’s title is “ain’t misbehaving”. make of that what you will.
  • there’s the odd musical interlude – i almost forgot to mention.

  • opening music: Renaissance – Back Home Once Again
  • Interlude 1: Quiz Show – The Sound of Kissing
  • interlude 2: Hem Netjer – Void
  • interlude 3: ON – Blackmail
  • Interlude 4: Golden Hours – Dead On
  • Interlude 5: Melting Rust Opera – Anti Human System (which they filmed the fucking video for in portrait on a mobile phone.…

17:44 – Only When I Laugh – S02E05 – The Visitors – A sitcom made by Yorkshire Television for ITV, written by Eric Chappell (Rising Damp, Home to Roost). It stars Christopher Strauli as Norman, a rather naive middle-class man who is admitted to a hospital ward and finds that he is sharing it with a working-class layabout called Figgis (James Bolam) and an upper-class hypochondriac called Archie (Peter Bowles). All three of them cause headaches for the hospital staff, led by Richard Wilson with Derrick Branche. This week, Norman’s overbearing, hypochondriac mother comes to visit and he is initially scared to tell her he is romancing nurse Jenny. Norman’s cowardice gives Glover the opportunity to try and make a move but Figgis puts him off with lies about Jenny and the young couple eventually stand up to Mrs Binns. Figgis meanwhile shares a passionate embrace with a visitor who is not his wife – and is also unaware that he has one… First broadcast on Tue 27th May 1980 by ITV.

as a lot of folk missed saturday, and I’ve been doing a LOT of other stuff this last week, this week will basically be a replay of saturday. It was a pretty big week in a couple of the series, so this is another chance to catch up on anything you might have missed.

    New Additions:

The Mr Hell Show – odd animation series with Bob Monkhouse as some kind of satan knock off. almost completely forgotten about.

Empty – Gregor Fisher and his mate doing house removals. This should have been chucklevision series 3 but i need to transcode it as the files aren’t reading. i might get round to it by the time a series finishes

oh, and we get confirmation that the sports anchor with the ridiculous combover from rollergames is indeed a twat.

    POSTPONED FROM WEDNESDAY 8TH FEBRUARY.

    17:35 – Sheepy’s opening music.

    17:38 – Thames TV morning start-up music.

All three of them cause headaches for the hospital staff, led by Richard Wilson with Derrick Branche. This week, when Figgis becomes obsessed with horoscopes in magazines and believes their predictions the others are sceptical – until Norman continually beats Glover at cards. However, Figgis becomes so preoccupied with astrological predictions he is convinced he is going to die – forcing Dr Thorpe to beat him at his own game to cure him of his obsession.
