It stars Christopher Strauli as Norman, a rather naive middle-class man who is admitted to a hospital ward and finds that he is sharing it with a working-class layabout called Figgis (James Bolam) and an upper-class hypochondriac called Archie (Peter Bowles). This week, Glover does not take kindly to eccentric new patient Joe Perkins – with his invisible dog – due to his lack of hygiene and use of Glover’s drinking tumbler for his false teeth. THe Hidden Strength

As most people will acknowledge (with the exception of Del) , Final Fantasy VII is a classic role-playing game from 1997. However, some may not be aware that for the past few years, a wonderfully creative movement of hobbyist modders have been producing a bevy of modifications for the game.

The fruits of their labour have introduced countless mods for gamers to create their own customisable version of the game. There will be various modifications activated during my playthrough, but perhaps the two most noteworthy mods are the AI upscaled backgrounds (which are now in beautiful HD) and the latest mod to be released; Echo-S.

Echo-S is the fruits of many years of labour for a small but dedicated team of modders. This particular mod adds full voice acting for every single line of dialogue and character in the game. It also amends the poor English translation of the original Japanese script (as originally used in the Western release of the game in 1997), as well as providing a rearranged soundtrack and environmental sound effects.

It’s Final Fantasy VII, but as you’ve never seen or heard it before!
