I’m trying something out ahead of Damo’s stream (see below for his schedule). It’s a rough interpretation of a BBC weekday early evening line-up from times gone by. We’ll be starting off with some classic CBBC, then moving on to the very first episodes of Neighbours and The Fresh Prince of Bel Air. At 7.30 we’ll continue our foray into Star Trek: The Next Generation, then finishing with an old Crimewatch before handing over to Damo’s stream at 9pm.

For the thirtieth Funbucket, I’ve decided to do the sequels to the films I showed the previous week: Death Wish II (1982) and the next instalment of the Dirty Harry franchise, Magnum Force (1973). We have the last episode of Stella Street series three coming up, which presents me with a bit of a problem as the first episode of series four has disappeared from the internet – it used to be up on YouTube but it has been taken down. We have a new show this week – Vic Reeves Big Night Out will be replacing The Brittas Empire (which will probably return at some point). When that’s finished we’ll move onto The Smell of Reeves and Mortimer! Tonight’s films feature some real bad bastards with massive guns: Death Wish (1974) by friend of lesbians Michael Winner, and Don Siegel’s Dirty Harry (1971).
