Christmas 2011

Another opportunistic instalment for the Throwback. We kick off with some early 90s Jobfinder, then a couple of schools programmes before we join ITV for Grotbags. The soap section follows, then Top of the Pops and The Brittas Empire take us into the evening. Crimewatch is broken up with some inane pedantry in Points of View, then Equinox looks into the phenomenon of video games. Big Trev brings us the News at Ten, and the evening comes to a close with Electric Avenue and another look into the intricate mysteries of quantum physics with the OU bods. We finish off with a closedown.

Christmas 2009

I’ve decided to devote the evening to the most unremittingly depressing game I’ve ever played: DayZ.

Tonight I’ll be one man on a mission, to cross a vast area full of zombies, homicidal survivalists and post-Soviet desolation – braving the elements, and facing horrific odds, to deliver a tin of spaghetti to a friend in need. Join me… If you dare.

[This has been cancelled, due to OBS broadcasting issues and a general sense of existential anguish.]
