Out to save Earth is an alien guard patrol located in the Bermuda Triangle, the League of Races. LOR leaders warn Rameses that he’s breaking galactic treaty rules. The alien villain responds by launching an invasion which telepathically drives Earthlings to suicide. The LOR implore UFO expert Professor Duncan to help them. Rollergames and the Lotus eaters both end tonight

after the last Rollergames, there’s a runthrough of some programme that’s in development. i shouldn’t really be showing it, but it can be considered a warning from the future. it’s going to be a hate-watch for me after i sat through it in a focus group. if you happen to be part of the organisation i did this for, this is a sign to better encrypt the videos you ask for feedback on. and just because taskmaster is a success doesn’t mean you can shoehorn this bunch of fuckers into a pale imitation of the format and get away with it.

after the schedule the bonus gig is from the lockdown era. it was filmed on the bar’s CCTV with one microphone in the middle of a sparse gig room. the PA sound was fed directly into the social distance observing bar next door. i hope to be doing a proper recording of the band at somepoint in the future,…

This week, Figgis takes exception to the anodyne hospital radio run by nurse Victoria Plumtree and, when she accidentally leaves her recording equipment in the ward, spices things up by taping and broadcasting one of Dr Thorpe’s tirades. Having persuaded Victoria to allow him to record his own show he gets Glover and Norman to roam the hospital in search of stories – and gets one when they accidentally stumble upon Victoria’s passionate meeting with Dr Thorpe and allow the whole hospital to hear their emotional outpourings.…
