As usual I’ll be warming up with some test card and teletext stuff around 5pm. The main show will start at 6pm with another CITV block featuring some classic shows and continuity. The usual programmes follow. Pick up some lockdown tips in this week’s Weird Weekends, as Louis meets some survivalists. The film will be Joe’s Apartment (1996), a musical comedy starring Jerry O’Connell and Megan Ward. Joe, our protagonist, moves into a scummy apartment in downtown New York, owned by a ruthless slumlord. He soon discovers that the apartment is home to a host of mischievous, wisecracking cockroaches with a penchant for song and dance (Billy West and Dave Chapelle are amongst the voice actors for Joe’s blattodean buddies). Rounding off the night we have a Late Show special on folk legend Martin Carthy, followed by some Open University programming and a closedown.

OTHTV 30/03/2020

im off work so i might be around a little earlier to clart around with either gaming, music or wrestling – i dunno.

  • confirmed schedule is:
  • 2000: knights of god
  • 2030 gangsters
  • 2130 sleepers *
  • 2230 Urban Gothic (Cry Wolf)
  • 2300 living in your car
  • 2330 jupiter moon

*the reason i’ve chosen to go with sleepers is that it has 4 episodes as opposed to the 3 that in the red has – this means it will end the same week Gangsters does and frees up a larger block for a movie/standalone drama before another series starts (or a prime time slot for a set number of jupiter moon episodes and a film to close – any feedback would be appreciated on what you’d prefer)

This week’s show begins with some ITV themed retro TV, starting around 5 with some test card music and Oracle related ephemera. The CITV block begins at 6pm. This will be followed by the usual shows, along with the first episode of 3rd Rock From the Sun. Loius Theroux explores the seedy world of porn, then closing out the evening, Jean-Claude Van Damme stars in the 1990 film Lionheart (also known as AWOL or Wrong Bet). A tenacious legionnaire leaves his post and sets out to provide for his dead brother’s family in the only way he knows how – by beating the living shit out of people.

6.00 The Riddlers
6.20 T. Bag and the Pearls of Wisdom
6.45 Inspectror Gadget
7.10 Neighbours
7.35 The Fresh Prince of Bel Air – S01E06 Mistaken Identity
8.00 Star Trek: The Next Generation – S01E09 Hide and Q
8.45 3rd Rock From the Sun – S01E01 Brains and Eggs
